We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician with experience in the light commercial HVAC and Refrigeration industry.
Position
Summary:
The HVAC/R Technician role is primarily responsible for performing repairs and maintenance to a variety of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment including air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers and humidifiers, chillers, RTUs, remote condensing units, ice machines, walk-in coolers & freezers, and upright refrigerators & freezers.
Knows basics in rack controls, defrost clocks, time delays, phase loss monitors, solid state controls, understands scroll and reciprocating compressors, market HVAC, market P.

Knows the scaling of refrigeration from convenience stores to supermarket, the electrical components of compressor racks and supermarket controls, different types and functionalities of defrost controls for large refrigeration systems, how to measure compressor parameters and diagnose compressor, which nameplate ratings are important when replacing a motor in the field, how to diagnose functionality of components of a typical parallel rack refrigeration unit and of a typical supermarket HVAC unit, how to read and analyze PM specifications and leak check requirements, how to perform a supermarket PM and leak check, principles of water based systems and their functionality.
Requirements:

years of commercial market experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician Strong competency with Self-Contained units, Single Systems, and knows the basics of Rack Systems.
Active EPA Certification Valid Driver's License Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
